흔들렸다. 와인바가 너무 어두워서리...

사연이 있는 와인이다. 2년전인가 3년 전인가.... 와인의 맛을 모르던 시절....
세곡동의 어느 보신탕집에서 수육과 같이 마신 와인. 네로다볼라를 첨 알았고 그 느낌이 너무 좋아서
이번에 시칠리아를 다녀온 지인 공수한 와인. 병이 참 특이하다.
첨엔 중저음의 바리톤가수 느낌이 온다. 일반적인 네로다볼라이 느낌이랑은 참 다르다.
시간이 지나면서 바뀌는 카멜레온의 느낌. 흰후추와 오소리털향이 나더니 흙냄새가 나고 가을의 느낌이 온다. 테루아가 느껴지는 와인..... 초강추 !!!

나의 첫번째 Gaja가 Sperss가 될줄이야.... 얼마나 기다려야 할까 고민했지만 이태리 현지 와인샵주인이 권고해준대로 90분 정도 지나고 나니 핀다. 기름진 천연화장품이란 생각이 든다. 색은 피노누아 느낌이 난다. 최고의 기풍스럽고 고상한 산미!!!
네비올로도 엄청 마셨지만 좋은와인은 이런 발란스를 가지고 있구나 하는 생각이 든다.
International Wine Cellar (94% Nebbiol, 6% Barbera) Sperss displays the austere character typical of Serralunga terroir: deep structure and lots of ripe tannins. The nose shows a dark, pure and very focused fruit with classic hints of tar, licorice and a touch of truffles. Score: 95. —Stephen Tanzer
검은과일과 클래식한 타르, 약간의 트러플 향이 복합적으로 나타난다. 스페르스(Sperss)는 세라룽가(Serralunga)의 특징을 잘 살린 와인으로 무게있는 구조와 잘 익은 탄닌이 풍부한 풀바디 와인이다.
1961년까지 바롤로(Barolo)를 만들기 위해 세가룽가 지역의 포도를 매입하던 가야는 자신의 포도밭에서 나온 포도만을 사용하기로 결정, 1988년 스페르스 라는 이름의 세라룽가 지역의 30에이커의 땅을 사들인다. 피에몬떼 방언으로 '향수(Nostalgia)' 라는 뜻의 스페르스는 바롤로 지역의 파워풀한 와인에 대한 가야의 향수를 대변해주고 있다.
세계 최대 와인 생산국인 이태리가 2천여년만에 다시 세계 최고의 와인으로 화려하게 복귀 했음을 알리는 새로운 물결인 “이태리 와인의 르네상스”를 주도한 안젤로 가야. 가야는 이태리 피에몬테 지방의 가장 우수한 단일 포도원 5개를 구입한 후 고유 포도 품종인 네비올로(Nebbiolo)로 세계 최고의 와인을 생산하는 명실상부 이태리 와인의 최고봉이다.

1년전 바롤로 깜뻬를 반주로 마셧던 기억이 난다..... 네비올로이 트라이앵글 !!!
이런 기회가 주어진 자체로서 행복하다. 더이상 말이 필요없는 넘. 솔직히 Spress 보다 낫다. ^^

Description: Voluptuous chunky Barolo, big flavours of plum and chocolate, quite some structure, big-framed though silkier than the 1999.
Robert Parker: The 2000 Barolo Ciabot Mentin Ginestra is warm and sweet in aroma with sensations of cinnamon and sandalwood, roses and plums. As potent as the Pajana, it balances the richness of the extraction with more velvet and suppleness, greater depth, and a longer, more complete finish.
Drink: 2005-2020.Jancis Robinson: Mid ruby. Classic tar and mineral nose with real acid and tannin - more evident than in many other examples. For once this wine is not overwhelmed by sweet fruit!
Wine Spectator: Fantastic aromas of cinnamon, violets and blackberries follow through to a full-bodied palate with supersilky tannins and a beautiful long, long finish. All in depth and finesse. A top 2000 Barolo from the 37-acre Ginestra vineyard outside Monforte d'Alba. Best after 2009. 1,250 cases made.

딱 마시니 바로 이놈이다!!! 잘익은 과일의 느낌. 네비올로와는 비교도 않되는 낮은 산미와 탄닌.... Scyri와 비교하면 이넘의 판정승!!!
TASTING Colour - ruby red with garnet red highlights.
Aroma - blend of ripe fruit, irises and spices. Flavour - strong, round, well-balanced, with character, with scents of wood blended perfectly. Great persistence.
ALCOHOL CONTENT - 14.0 v %.
PRODUCTION OUTPUT 56,000 750-ml. bottles, 1,000 1,500-ml magnum bottles and 200 3,000-ml. double magnum bottles.
SERVING TEMPERATURE - 16° - 18° C.
RECOMMENDED GLASS - Transparent long-stemmed balloon glass.
RECOMMENDED WITH Excellent with roast meat, grilled meat, game and cheese.
STORING - Reclined bottle in cool (13° - 15° C.) room, not too moist.
LIFE - More than 10 years if kept in cellars with suitable conditions.

 WS 92점 받은 와인인데.... 끊었다..... 샵이 가까우면 바꿀텐데...
그래도 1시간 나두니 제법 향이 살아난다. 하지만 부르넬로를 너무나 좋아하는 나이기에 이넘은 미안하지만 아니다..... 아쉽다.
A pretty, aromatic nose along with notes of super-ripe fruit, sweet toasted oak, vanilla, tobacco and earthiness on a medium bodied frame of notable length and elegance, closing with fine tannins. It strikes a nice balance between modern and traditional styles, offering the flavors of the former and the structure of the latter. It should be at its finest between 2008 and 2016.
92 POINTS - WS - Intense aromas of fresh raspberry and sliced mushroom. Full-bodied, with chewy tannis. Long and structured.

Cantina Del Nebbiolo Roero Arneis 2002
네비올로로 만든 화이트와인. 첨에 마셔야 하는데 와인의 뽀스에 눌려 깜박잊고 맨 마지막에 맛본 와인. 스파클링와인에서 김빠진 느낌이다. 11.5도의 알콜이라 첨에 마셧으면 좋았을 거란 생각이 든다.
아니면 내가 아직 모르던가....
